BOTOX® Cosmetic—commonly referred to as a neurotoxin treatment—is a nonsurgical injectable used to temporarily soften expression lines caused by repeated facial movement. It can create a smoother, more refreshed appearance while preserving the natural expressions that make you look like yourself.
At Eclipse Medical Aesthetics, every treatment is thoughtfully planned around your facial anatomy, expressions, and personal goals. Our approach is never one-size-fits-all. We focus on subtle, balanced results that enhance your natural features without making you look overtreated.
A Thoughtful, Expert Approach
Eclipse Medical Aesthetics founder Cassandra Rommel, ARNP, brings 17 years of medical experience and more than 7,000 hours of advanced injection experience to her work in aesthetic medicine.
Her clinical expertise, advanced aesthetic training, precise technique, and gentle approach allow her to create highly individualized treatment plans. During your consultation, Cassandra will take time to understand your concerns, evaluate how your facial muscles move, and recommend a treatment plan that feels right for you.
What Can BOTOX Cosmetic Treat?
BOTOX Cosmetic is FDA approved to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe:
-
Forehead lines
-
Frown lines between the eyebrows, often called the “11s”
-
Crow’s feet around the eyes
-
Soften the “jowls” and smooth the jawline
-
Help the face appear more lifted by relaxing targeted facial muscles, BOTOX Cosmetic can soften these expression lines and create a smoother, more rested appearance without changing your natural features.
Who Is a Good Candidate?
Ideal candidates are those concerned with dynamic wrinkles caused by facial movements, those wanting preventative anti-aging treatment, and anyone seeking a subtle, natural-looking refresh rather than dramatic change. Botox is suitable for adults 18 and older, though it’s most commonly used by those in their 30s and beyond. During your consultation, Cassandra will discuss your goals, assess your facial anatomy, and determine whether Botox alone or a combination approach (such as pairing Botox with dermal fillers) would best serve your desired outcomes.
Preparing for Your Appointment
To help ensure a safe, comfortable treatment:
-
Schedule your neurotoxin appointment at least two weeks before or after any vaccination.
-
Please wait at least two weeks after recovering from an illness before receiving treatment. If you are unsure whether you should keep your appointment, contact us before your visit.
-
Arrive with clean skin free of makeup, skincare products, and sunscreen in the treatment area. Additional preparation and aftercare instructions will be reviewed with you as needed.
Results & Recovery
One of the greatest advantages of Botox is that there’s no downtime. You can return to your normal activities immediately after your appointment. Some patients experience minimal redness or swelling at injection sites, which resolves within hours. Results continue to improve over two weeks as the product fully takes effect, and most patients enjoy their results for 3–4 months. Many choose to schedule maintenance treatments before results fade to maintain their refreshed appearance.
